Welcome to the first edition of “ACES Editors Corner,” our new monthly newsletter.
As your executive director, I am delighted to introduce this revamped publication tailored specifically to our esteemed editors in the industry. (If you are on the ACES mailing list, you will receive this in your email today. If you do not, you can find the link in the newsletter archives.)
First and foremost, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all our new members who have joined ACES since our last newsletter. We are thrilled to have you onboard and look forward to supporting you throughout your journey in the editing profession.
ACES Editors Corner will serve as a platform to keep you informed about the latest updates from our organization. This newsletter will include timely articles pertinent to the field of editing, and we will also provide valuable tips and tricks to enhance your skillset.
Our goal is to offer a comprehensive resource for professionals in our industry, promoting continuous learning and growth.
Furthermore, we will keep you informed about upcoming events, webcasts, and conferences both organized by ACES and those relevant to our editing community. As an association, we continuously strive to provide opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing, and professional development.
Stay tuned for updates on all these exciting initiatives.
Lastly, I want to express my deepest gratitude to our dedicated communications and marketing manager, Sasha Nyary, who was involved in producing this newsletter. She has put in tremendous effort to curate relevant content and present it in a visually appealing format.
