This training is available on-demand and is offered at a significant discount for ACES members. That makes it a convenient and cost-effective way to keep up your editing chops.

The Poynter ACES Certificate in Editing gives you a solid understanding of the standards, essential skills, and best practices of editing. This course contains six self-paced courses. The cost is $150 for nonmembers and $75 for members.
The advanced certificate program contains two components:
ACES In-Depth Online Group Seminar, a four-week faculty-led program that focuses on substantive editing and critical thinking skills across multiple platforms. Accurate, Audience-Focused Editing Course Pack, a series of seven self-paced courses for experienced editors who want to refine their skills. The cost is $150 for nonmembers and $75 for members.
