Vee White provides developmental editing, copyediting, and fact checking at Vee White Editorial. With about 15 years’ experience, they have worked at and with publishers, nonprofits, and businesses, as well as directly for authors. In conjunction with Andrea Klingler, Vee offered an editorial internship program. Vee received an inaugural Richard S. Holden Diversity Fellowship and founded the LGBTQ+ Editors Association. They have identified and resolved plagiarism issues on numerous occasions, usually by providing education around paraphrasing. Vee has previously led workshops on best practices for paraphrasing and preventing plagiarism. They hope to promote more open discussion and training opportunities.
