Hello, I'm Summer! I have about 15 years of experience in the writing and editing field. By day, I'm a copy editor at an educational tech company, working on content marketing copy in the subject areas of nursing, social work, mental health care, education, business, law, and others; I also edit and fact-check social marketing plans for all applicable programs and provide additional editorial guidance as needed for staff writers and content editors.
Previously, I was assistant managing editor at the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, where I wrote, edited, and managed nurse writers for a consumer health magazine called Healthy Mom&Baby. I also wrote and edited for two scholarly nursing journals, JOGNN and Nursing for Women's Health.
