Academic, nonfiction
I specialize in academic and creative nonfiction written by and about queer people, women, and people of color in a wide range of humanities and social sciences fields, particularly gender and sexuality studies, Native and Indigenous studies, and environmental history. I also edit fiction with similar perspectives.
I earned bachelor's degrees in English and letters from the University of Oklahoma and a master's in publishing from Pace University, New York. With in-house scholarly press experience from my years as an editorial assistant, manuscript editor, and rights and permissions manager at the University of Oklahoma Press, I've been editing and proofreading full-time since 2017.
