I am an award-winning author, freelance journalist, and editor with 20+ years of experience. I am a strong writer, as I have researched and written hundreds of science-based articles for publications including Yahoo!, MSN, Dwell, Verywell,, Family Handyman, Earth911, TechTarget, mindbodygreen, 70+ regional parenting and women’s magazines, and many others. In addition, my award-winning book, Finding Ecohappiness: Fun Nature Activities to Help Your Kids Feel Happier and Calmer, has been featured in The Washington Post, USA Today, Good Housekeeping, National Geographic, MSN, Yahoo!, Library Journal, Booklist, Authority Magazine, and more.
