After decades of editing for newspapers, I moved into online publishing as Executive Editor for Ragan Communications (Chicago), serving an audience comprising communications pros of various stripes. As I applied my writing and editing talents and experience to mentor our editorial staff, I have learned a great deal about marketing, branding, internal communications, PR and social media, as well as health care. (One of our sites is geared to medical communications.) In addition to offering advice about writing and editing in humorous yet informative articles for our sites and The Huffington Post, I have conducted webinars and live workshops covering those topics.
I have written and edited for newspapers, magazines, nonfiction books, websites, blogs, marketing campaigns, internal and promotional emails, and an award-winning podcast offering linguistic guidance.
