Seven years ago I took a buyout from USA TODAY after 30-plus years as a writer, columnist and editor and began my freelance editing business. In addition, six years ago I became the editor at the nonprofit Tax Foundation in Washington, D.C., transforming the accuracy and style of their publications and donor correspondence and vastly improving the delivery time of the written materials from the economists and analysts.
However, there is not enough work to keep me busy at the Tax Foundation, so much of my freelance work is done during the day. That is why I can assure my clients a quick turnaround.
