I’m a freelance proofreader and an Intermediate member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (in the UK; previously the Society for Editors and Proofreaders).
I have seven years in-house experience in the publishing industry: I worked on academic journals at the Royal Chemistry Society and Cambridge University Press, and then on children’s fiction for the LEGO Group.
Since starting my freelance business in 2018 I have worked with academic authors (including many who were multilingual), corporate communications agencies, fiction and non-fiction authors. I also work as a CELTA-qualified English teacher so would be a great fit for any ELT publishing projects.
