I started my publishing journey at an academic press in 2008. I was immersed in every step of the publication process and made it my goal to learn as much as possible, to absorb every detail. While I have experience with nearly every part of the publication process, I am most passionate about copyediting and proofreading.With the goal of helping authors present their work in a way that truly makes a difference, I started my own company, Ford Editing, in 2012. I work with trade publishers and university presses—most notably National Geographic Books, Hachette Book Group, Penguin Random House, Johns Hopkins University Press, and Penn State University Press—as well as individuals and businesses to craft clear, concise content. I have been praised by publishers and authors alike as a keen editor with an exceptional eye for detail.
