Mindy Christiansen is a freelance copy editor in the Denver area. While she has editing experience in various fields of study, as a fellow creative, she most enjoys working with writers about their personal creative endeavors.
Creative nonfiction—including memoirs, insights about anything handmade or homemade, and encouraging stories about faith, family, or home and gardening—is her cup of tea.
Mindy has a dual bachelor’s degree in English Writing and Communication from the University of Colorado at Denver and is a certified copy editor through the University of San Diego Extension. She is currently freelancing part-time for an editing agency and is looking for more freelancing opportunities. Her professional background is comprised of English writing and tutoring, as well as five years in the television industry where she helped create uplifting, inspiring shows for HGTV and Food Network.
