A storyteller is born as a result of the partnership between the writer and an editor passionate enough about the story to get it to the polished finish line. I am a writer, editor and content strategist, with over 20 years of experience. Some of my specialities include mystery novels (very keen on cozies!), Young Adult, historical fiction, time travel, fantasy, health care, publishing, travel, home & garden, food culture, and retail. I love working with new authors and authors with series. I have a great knack for writing book copy for covers/ads/marketing.
I started my editing career as a proofreader for the Associated Press and moved into book publishing for Llewellyn Worldwide Inc. where I worked on mystery novels, Young Adult fiction, paranormal love stories and calendars/almanacs. I now work primarily with independent authors, with a strong focus on cozy mysteries and Young Adult fiction.
For much of of my career, I've written and edited high-profile executive stories, scripts, blog posts and other content for Fortune 500 companies, including for VIPs in the Fortune Top 10.
