I have an MA in English and over twelve years of editorial experience, both in fiction and nonfiction. Admittedly, after editing and proofreading predominantly fiction for the past eight years, I've really come to love working with fiction. I have extensive experience with romance novels in particular.
My goal as your copyeditor or proofreader is to not only hunt down all those distracting little errors that pull readers from immersion, but also to polish your work without affecting your unique voice. I follow Chicago Manual of Style and use Merriam-Webster, though I am certainly open to using a difference dictionary if you prefer.
