Since my girlhood days of sneaking under the covers for “just one more chapter,” I’ve always been enchanted by the literary world. It’s a passion that’s led me down many paths and into many roles, including college newspaper editor, English language teacher, local journalist and freelance writer.
As I’ve grown in my own writing, I’ve also grown to love sharing the craft of storytelling with others. I founded McIntyre Editorial Services to do just that — because whether you’re a brand or a budding author, there is power in an authentic story.
Drawing on degrees in journalism and creative writing, as well as more than six years of experience working with marketing firms and media publications, I offer editing services for:
- Fiction and nonfiction manuscripts
- Marketing and promotional content
- Newspaper and magazine articles
- Personal statements and admissions essays
I am a trained developmental editor through the Editorial Arts Academy and am a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association and ACES: The Society for Editing. Some of my favorite genres include thriller, mystery and memoir, but I will rarely pass up a project that piques my interest, regardless of category.
