After earning a Bachelor's of Business Administration, I spent over twenty years in business and human resources management. My love of reading, writing and language resulted in my becoming the go-to person for the writing, proofreading and editing of business and technical documents and communications in every role I held during that time. To formalize my training and further improve my skills, I earned a Specialized Certificate in Copyediting from the University of California, San Diego Extension and expanded my experience to include academic editing, web content such as blogs and ecommerce sites, personal essays and memoirs.
I have extensive experience editing writing by non-native English speakers, and I regularly edit in both US and UK English. I am very familiar with APA style, CMoS, and Hart's Rules.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, traveling, spending time with family, being frustrated by Ferrari's performance in Formula 1 racing, and drinking coffee and wine (not at the same time).
