I am a linguist and a writer, with BA in English from Hunter College, and MA in Linguistics from the Graduate Center, New York, NY. I've done a lot of PhD level work in my graduate school, concentrating on Native American languages and ethnopoetics. I've been working as a copy editor and translator for over ten years. My work includes editing academic papers in the tree main manuals of style: Chicago, MLA and APA. I also edit translations from Slavic and Scandinavian languages, as well as translate literature from a few language into American English.
