Description:

A writer and copyeditor with over fifteen years of experience, I have worked with individuals and organizations eager to make their prose the very best it can be. Clients include International Critical Childhood Policy Studies Journal, University of Wisconsin; Edmentum, QBS Learning, Apex Learning, the University of Texas at Austin, School of Social Work; and ArtsEmerson at Emerson College. I have assisted individuals with award-winning books and academic articles, dissertations, and manuscripts on topics in the humanities and social sciences.

I am the author of an award-winning collection of short stories and a recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Literature Fellowship. My work has been selected as distinguished by The Best American Short Stories and The Best American Non-Required Reading series, and has appeared in Virginia Quarterly Review, New England Review, Iowa Review, Five Points, Poets & Writers, and Quartz, among others.

I hold an MFA in creative writing from Warren Wilson College, an MA in international relations from the Fletcher School, Tufts University; and a BA in English literature (minoring in anthropology) from the University of Rochester.
