After fourteen years at bigger publishers—from Henry Holt/John Macrae Books (Macmillan) and Grand Central Publishing (Hachette) to Melville House and the Kenyon Review—I've launched my full-time freelance editorial business. I work directly with authors and publishers to tighten, polish, and closely read each draft; I'm also available for ideas about where to submit the piece, or how to best spread the word about it.
