I am a former journalist, public affairs strategist, editor and writer. My experience includes serving as managing editor of a major political journal; public affairs director for an international nonprofit specializing in democracy building; executive vice president of an international public affairs firm advising corporations, organizations and foreign governments; and press secretary for a U.S. Senator. Each of these positions required the creation and editing of articles, reports, analysis pieces, web content, speeches, and other materials for publication or broadcast.
