I'm an editor with over twenty-five years' experience providing services to academic authors. I edit at all levels--developmental editing, substantive editing, and copyediting. I also work with authors before they submit to a publisher to make sure their text is in good shape. Fact-checking and reference editing are always included in any service I provide. My specialties are in the humanities (history, queer studies, gender studies, education, American studies, future studies, women's studies, history of health and medicine, religious studies, theatre studies) and social sciences (archaeology, anthropology, political science, economics). I especially enjoy working with early-career authors and English speakers of other languages. Books I've edited have won national awards that have advanced the careers of the authors. Authors I've worked with often ask me to index or proofread their books.
