I am a freelance developmental, line, and copy editor with a certificate in editing from UC Berkeley Extension and fifteen years of writing and editing experience through my work with nonprofits in the wildlife conservation field. I have edited, written, and contributed to a variety of communication materials including reports, fact sheets, press releases, static web content, blogs, letters to lawmakers, congressional testimony, children's educational books, and nonfiction works.
My philosophy is that anything with words can benefit from a good editor, and I am open to working on any type of project--books, letters, web content, blogs, flyers, menus, wedding invitations, speeches, or anything else you can think of. In addition to wildlife conservation, my editorial interests include environmental health, eldercare, Alzheimer's disease, public policy, travel, and food.
