My years of experience as a college professor and a librarian have sharpened my editorial skills to their highest. When I edit your book, story, or article I work hard to preserve your creative voice and your vision. I closely examine each manuscript for grammar, spelling, word usage, and overall structure and make corrections using the Microsoft Word track changes feature. I perform fact-checking if needed, and make sure your information is arranged in a way that will resonate with your readers. When I edit books and short stories I keep my eye on the narrative flow and characters, and when I smooth out rough or unclear place I reword them to fit seamlessly into your manuscript. I love to work with both nonfiction and fiction manuscripts, and I enjoy the variety that my editing assignments bring. I am a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association and the American Copy Editors Association.
