Hello, my name is Jay Rosenberg. I edit educational materials and academic writing.
In terms of educational materials, I am comfortable editing textbooks, assessments, and curricular materials of all sorts. In addition to my love of language, I have an advanced degree in education and nearly ten years of hands-on experience working with students.
In terms of academic writing, I specialize in work in the humanities and social sciences. I have advanced degrees in philosophy and sociology, so I have special expertise in those areas. However, I am comfortable editing materials from other disciplines as well. I have completed advanced coursework in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, as well as courses in grant and research proposal writing.
I have considerable experience working with non-native English speakers.
I am originally from Durham, Connecticut, but I currently live in Chengdu, China.
