I earned my MA and PhD in history from Stanford University, where I studied artisans’ ideas about gender in early modern France, Italy, and the Netherlands. More recently, I served as the managing editor of the Journal for Research in Mathematics Education, a preeminent social science journal. I have been a freelance editor since 2024 and I enjoy working with authors from all humanities and social science fields on their academic writing. I offer developmental editing (helping to strengthen and refine your argument) and line editing (ensuring that each sentence and paragraph flows smoothly) as well as copyediting and reference formatting to conform to APA style.
