I am a lover of language who is eager to help individuals and organizations communicate important ideas effectively. I copyedit works of all types with specialization in academic work and in popular writing on history and spirituality. I am willing edit both short material (one-pages, blogs, etc.) and long projects (up to book-length). I come to editing from an extensive background in higher and secondary education. That formation has given me an ability to work with writers at all levels, experience making technical ideas accessible to a wider audience, and a commitment to a writer-first process.
