I am a freelance proofreader and copyeditor currently taking on new clients in fiction, poetry, and nonfiction. Because of my broad set of life experiences, I am comfortable working with a variety of material.
I love to help clean up! My eagle eye will catch grammar issues, spelling and homonym slips, formatting and typography flaws, style inconsistencies, and punctuation errors. Although my focus is as a proofreader, I also offer copyediting services. If you're a new author, I'd be happy to explain the difference between the two and give quotes for both.
I have life experience as an artist, poet, crafter, and classical musician. This experience combined with my professional training as a proofreader has honed my sense of detail to a fine edge. And, as a queer person myself, if your book or piece includes LGBT+ topics, you can trust that I will handle your material with care.
