I am currently a freelance copy editor and communications consultant available for remote editing work. I am skilled in content creation, in-depth research, copy editing, proofreading, and media relations. I work with clients in a variety of industries, including a national public affairs agency, a technology media company, and a higher education nonprofit. I pride myself on having an acute attention to detail, as well as an expert-level understanding of grammar, punctuation, syntax, and style. I'm comfortable working within AP style, CMS, and unique in-house style guides.
I'm a current master's degree student at the George Washington University in the publishing program, and I previously earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Media and Journalism.
