As a grammar and language enthusiast, I love working with people to shape their writing so their voices can make a bigger impact. I help writers and businesses to connect with readers by ensuring their content is engaging and well written. In addition to grammar, spelling, and punctuation, I always look out for things like clarity and consistency in order to ensure that the final result is a quality piece of writing that will be effective at accomplishing its purpose. I see editing as a collaborative process between a writer and editor and take care not to edit out my client's unique style and character.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oberlin College where I majored in Latin with minors in History and Ancient Greek. My background in languages gave me a broad vocabulary and solid understanding of grammar that allow me to easily tackle works at varying levels of complexity.

I began working as a freelance proofreader in 2018 and have since expanded into other areas of editing. While I specialize in the guidelines of Chicago style, I also have familiarity with the AP and MLA style guides.
