As an editor, I build writers up and teach them as I go, so they fully understand the changes I suggest. My goal is to strengthen writers as I strengthen their writing, which is my favorite part of editing. I love working collaboratively with writers, acting as a sounding board for new ideas, and jumping in at a moment’s notice to help when a writer is stuck or overwhelmed. I quickly pivot from project to project, and I work efficiently with little supervision. I have diverse editing experience in marketing copyediting for an SaaS platform, journalism, and technical editing.
