I’m a graduate student and teaching assistant in philosophy at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where I’ve undergone rigorous training in academic writing. Because precision is essential to analytic philosophy, my studies continually refine my ability to make language precise—to disambiguate nuances and clarify dense passages. What began with a psychology professor's request that I edit and format his manuscript for publication has become my area of expertise. My proofreading and copy editing experience is academic yet diverse—I’ve edited psychology, philosophy, and medical humanities professors’ peer reviewed books and articles, seminary students’ dissertations, and ESL students’ theses. For each project, I’ve adapted to publisher-specific style guides, but I specialize in Chicago- and APA-based styles.
