I love books. I have always loved books, and reading, and stories.
However, I am also one of those people whose reading comes to a screeching halt at a typo.
As a result, I have greatly enjoyed helping authors and publishers copy edit or proofread their works to find those tiny flaws prior to publication.
Now I am also freelancing my proofreading and editing skills.
