I am an experienced freelance copyeditor and proofreader with a B.A. in Writing, Literature, and Publishing. During my education, I had the opportunity to take many writing workshop classes; copyediting, book editing, and publishing overview classes; and publish my short story collection with Wilde Press. I currently work as a freelance proofreader and copyeditor for Penguin Random House and was trained by a RH production editor in the Random House Copyediting Mentorship Program. In the last three years, I've had experience copyediting and proofreading many different genres, mainly with a commercial lens, but I'd like to expand into freelance substantive editing and writing. I'm happy to provide sample edit letters, short stories, and essays upon request.
