I provide editing, permissions, and research services to academic and nonfiction writers. I offer developmental editing, substantive editing, line editing, copyediting, proofreading, dissertation/thesis formatting, permissions editing, image research, and other research support. I also offer services as a writing coach.
I have a PhD in Communication, an MA in Historical Musicology, and an MA in Library & Information Studies. My bachelor's degrees from Oberlin College & Conservatory were in English and music history.
Besides books and articles about music, I also edit music-adjacent text, such as album liner notes, musician bios, and program notes.
