I am an editor, proofreader, and writer who holds a graduate certificate in Editing from the University of Chicago and bachelor degrees in English and Music (Saxophone Performance) from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. I specialize in editing recipes and cookbooks, music writing, press releases, social media content, magazine articles, and marketing media. I am a contributing writer and editor for the website Stripes Europe, a copywriter of promotional content for self-publishers, and a home test cook for America’s Test Kitchen. Previously, I was the copy editor for Spaces Magazine of the Pioneer Press in St. Paul, Minnesota. I have worked in event communications and management as well as public relations at several arts organizations, including Arts Midwest, Twin Cities Jazz Festival, JazzMN Orchestra, and Macalester College’s Music Department.
