Hello! I am Angela Knotts Morse, a freelance editor in Alabama. While my background is scientific and I hold a Master of Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, I have always excelled in English. My whole life, I have been drawn to the English language, and I only chose not to pursue a degree in English because I didn't want to be an English teacher.
As a freelance editor, I have learned a lot about the industry and I feel confident in my copy editing, line editing, and proofreading abilities. I work best with indie/self-published authors, and all my clients to date have been highly satisfied with the work I have done.
I work primarily in fiction, my specialties being fantasy, science fiction, mystery, and young adult. I will happily provide a 1,000 word sample edit to see if our styles work well together. I can also provide client testimonials upon request.
