I've been writing and editing professionally for over a decade. I specialize in substantive editing for nonfiction manuscripts, proposal writing and development, and writing for derivative products. I am also a content writer for several clients, creating blog and email content. I've been published in The Washington Post, USA Today, and Fathom magazine, and I've published a collection of essays.
I received a bachelor’s degree in English from Abilene Christian University and a master’s in English from Oxford Brookes University. Before going freelance full time in 2014, I worked in-house at HarperCollins Christian Publishing in editorial and publicity roles. I am passionate about storytelling and crafting and making every book’s message as clear as possible for the ultimate reading experience.
