I honed my editing skills in the fast-paced newsrooms at CNN and POLITICO in Washington, D.C. I combined my love of language, grammatical expertise and eye for inconsistency to work with words across digital platforms. Whether proofing a tweet, editing a newsletter or fact-checking a lengthy article, I met the rigorous deadlines of the newsroom. I thrive editing with a quick turnaround.
Editing for the dual purposes of meeting business needs and creating amazing content — while checking the SEO box — was at the heart of my role leading QuickBooks' content marketing editorial operation.
