I am a freelance editor with 20 years of experience. I have worked on a variety of projects, including: picture books and KidLit, K-12 education materials, conference proceedings, large-scale international science documents, and academic publications. I particularly enjoy working on the developmental stages of children's literature (especially picture books!) and tightening language for clarity and ease of reading.
My work has afforded me the opportunity to work with writers from the United States and Canada, Elders and culture-bearers from Alaska and Hawai'i, and policy-makers, scientists, and climate researchers from around the world.
When I am not editing, I can be found enjoying the outdoors with my dog, daughter, and husband.
