I have a PhD in Experimental Pathology (New York Medical College, Graduate School of Basic Medical Sciences, 2007). I taught graduate level courses in Pathology and HIV/AIDS for a short time while completing my dissertation on the genetics underlying hypertension. I specialize in proofreading for non-native English speakers (American, British/UK, or Oxford English). I have nearly 20 years of experience in editing scientific manuscripts (e.g., medical/surgical, infectious disease, genetics, agriculture, materials science, dentistry, food science), dissertations, grants, textbook chapters, websites (e.g., pharma, educational, biotech), and marketing materials (e.g., pharma, biotech) for English usage. I can also copy edit to target journal guidelines. I generally use Microsoft Word Track Changes and can also edit Excel or PowerPoint files.
