Carolyn Arnold Lumia most recently was head of Corporate Content Strategy for Northern Trust’s Corporate Marketing Communications department. She developed the company’s new corporate-specific content strategy for their website redesign, establishing a more-frequent, dynamic publishing structure. She led the creative team responsible for devising content strategy and development to support business line marketing objectives and campaigns across all Northern Trust audiences. As part of her role, Carolyn oversaw thought leadership development and content distribution.

Prior to Northern Trust, she was in public relations at Margie Korshak, Inc., a boutique Chicago agency, and was a reporter at the Daily Herald, the third-largest newspaper in Illinois.

Carolyn earned bachelor’s degrees in both Journalism and English Literature, as well as a minor in French, from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
