Andrea has been a medical/science editor for ~20 years. For 10 years she ran her own company, Silverwood Editorial & Communications. Now, as a senior medical editor at Curtis Learning, she works with content creators developing products that educate providers and patients and train biotech professionals. Andrea has received several awards, including Product Developer of the Year (Wolters Kluwer, 2009). Andrea is a certified Editor in the Life Sciences (2018) and a member of ACES and the American Medical Writers Association. Andrea received a BA in English from Juniata College and an MA in Publishing and Writing from Emerson College.
