Maria Coxwell Is the New Professional Development Manager

By Gigi Sutton, Executive Director

Dear ACES members,

I am thrilled to announce that Maria Coxwell has joined our team as professional development manager.

Maria will be leading our training and professional development initiatives at ACES, working alongside our talented staff members, Sasha Nyary (communications and marketing manager) and Christine Steele (editor).

With over 15 years of experience in event planning and program management, Maria is a certified meeting professional who specializes in creating impactful learning experiences, both in-person and virtually. Her passion for professional development and her strong background in education and training will greatly enhance our programs.

Maria holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Georgia State University and resides in upstate South Carolina with her husband and their two dogs. A fun fact about Maria is that she is currently working on visiting all of the U.S. national parks — an exciting adventure!

Please join me in warmly welcoming Maria to the ACES staff. I look forward to the great things we will achieve together.

Best,

Gigi Sutton, MBA
Executive Director
