Using the ACES brand

Follow these guidelines to ensure your use of ACES materials is clear, accurate, and consistent.

Logo usage

  • Use the official logo files provided.
  • Do not alter the logo’s color, proportions, or type.
  • Do not combine the logo with other marks or branding.
  • Use the version that fits your background (light, dark, one-color).
  • The logo may be used without the tagline when space is limited.

Logo variations

ACES provides different formats depending on context:

  • Full logo with tagline
  • Full logo without tagline
  • One-color versions (red, black, white)
  • Logo mark for limited-space applications

Use the full logo whenever possible. Use the mark only when the brand is already clearly established.

Writing and naming

  • Always write ACES in all caps.
  • Do not use periods between letters.
  • Avoid variations like “Aces”, “aces”, or “A.C.E.S.”

Colors and typography

  • Primary colors: red and charcoal
  • Secondary colors: gray and ecru (use sparingly, not for logos)
  • Typefaces:
    • Libre Baskerville for headlines
    • Montserrat for body copy
    • Arial as fallback

Attribution and context

  • Do not use the ACES logo in a way that implies affiliation or endorsement.
  • Do not use ACES assets as part of your own branding.
  • Link to the ACES website when using the logo in digital formats.
