Neil Holdway: A Legacy of Service to ACES

Neil Holdway has been part of the ACES Board for more than 20 years.

He joined in 2005 and served as treasurer, secretary, vice president, and treasurer of the ACES Education Fund. He was also the president of the ACES Board.

Over time, he became someone people turned to.

When something needs to be figured out, when a question isn’t fully clear yet, or when a decision needs a bit more thought behind it, he listens.

He listens. He stays with problems until they are resolved. He helps bring them into focus.

It’s been like that for a long time. Across different boards, different moments, different kinds of challenges, he’s been there, working in the same way.

This year, his term is ending, but he’s not leaving ACES.

You can’t really leave something you’ve shaped as much as it’s shaped you.

Thank you, Neil. We are grateful for all you’ve done for ACES and are excited to see what’s next.
