The Glamann Award is presented to individuals or organizations whose work has had a significant and sustained impact on editing and on the ACES community.
About the Glamann Award
Established in 2007, the Glamann Award honors contributions that strengthen both the profession and the community around it.
The award is named for Hank Glamann, ACES cofounder and former member of the Board of Directors. His work helped shape the organization and its role in supporting editors.
Each year’s recipient is selected by the ACES Board of Directors.
What this award recognizes
The Glamann Award reflects long-term impact.
Recipients are recognized for:
- Advancing the craft of editing
- Supporting and strengthening the editing community
- Contributing to ACES in meaningful and lasting ways
- Demonstrating leadership and commitment over time
