Serves as one of the seven writers and editors on the Charitable Giving Division's Editorial team. Supports the Senior Managing Editor and the division's editorial staff to produce quality, compelling, on-brand content about CRS' work and mission to approximately 500,000 (in print and online) CRS supporters in the United States monthly. Writes copy for direct mail and online campaign materials, web pages, scripts, as well as a variety of reports, donor proposals and other materials as needed with emphasis on capturing the human impact of CRS' work in more than 100 countries overseas. Substantively edits, proofreads, checks facts and organizes work of other content producers for print and electronic communications projects for timely dissemination. Uses editorial skill, judgment and knowledge of agency values and mission to ensure accurate and compelling content, and consistent use of grammar, house style and voice in keeping with best practices and the CRS editorial calendar and guidelines.
