This book is a 152-page history of one of Conrad Hilton's first hotels, built in El Paso, TX. The hotel was renovated and opened in 2020. It has significant historical importance to the Hilton chain, and to the City of El Paso. The forward was written by Mark Young, Ph.D., Director of the Hospitality Industry Archives, Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management, University of Houston. The book itself was written by William Helm, AIA, one of the architects on the project, and designed by Peter Fraire, a freelance creative director. The supervisory agent is Mithoff Burton Partners, marketing communications specialists for Franklin Mountain Investments, owner of the hotel.
Our need is for an experienced copy editor to review the book and help us "pull" the chapters together and copy edit the forward, dedication page, eight chapters, and footnotes. We have about a month to finish this project; fees to be determined.
