The senior copy editor works with the editorial team at National Geographic magazine to copy edit all magazine content for print and online for proper grammar, style, and content. The editor will work on all aspects of an article, including the main text, captions, art and map notes, and digital-only content. The editor works with the fact-checker/researcher and text editor throughout the production process to ensure consistency and the highest quality. Knowledge of InCopy and K4 publishing system a plus. Attention to detail required, but also the ability to see the big picture. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
