Copy editor/page designer – Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, a newspaper based in Little Rock, is looking for a page designer with copy editing skills and for a copy editor. The positions are on our night copy/design desk.
The Democrat-Gazette offers its print product in digital form. Subscribers read the day's edition on iPads, mobile phones, laptops and desktop computers. On Sundays, subscribers also receive a printed Sunday newspaper.
We are committed to giving our readers balanced, impartial news and our product has multiple sections seven days a week. Page designers help us deliver a hefty amount of information to readers.
We'd love to talk to you, whether you are a recent college graduate or someone with experience. If you were laid off but really miss the newspaper business, consider giving us a shout.
We're looking for prospective employees who know grammar and AP style, can write headlines and know how to design pages skillfully and on deadline.
Experience using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus. Suitable applicants will be brought in for interviews and tested.
