Communications Manager – Michigan State University Extension

Working as the Health Communications Manager for the rural youth and family immunization education project, you will work with program instructors and specialists. You will participate and serve as a liaison with MSUE communicators, youth development professionals, health and science professionals, and funding and implementing partners. Major efforts will focus on developing educational and promotional resources related to vaccine and immunization efforts. This includes developing and updating websites, creating, and managing content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok, and Instagram, and developing an online presence for the project efforts which may include tip sheets, news articles, news digests, bulletins, posters, videos, and other materials.

Your work will include planning, developing, editing, and posting digital content for the MSUE website in consultation with subject matter experts, as well as writing and developing impact-focused stories, marketing materials and legislative and grant reports for MSUE.
